For eight years from 1947, this was the number one selling truck in the States.

The Advance Design Series is one of those automotive icons. In lack-lustre post-War period, it helped get America moving again. Workhorse it may have been, but that was no excuse for Chevy to not make it a style and design classic.

Update 16/5/09 - I was busy minding my own busy in some heavy traffic along the North Circular when this bumbled into view on my right. How about that? I'd love to know the odds....
