Ferrari Enzo

I can be incredibly mischevious. This particular car is a relative fixture in the swathe of London between Knightsbridge and Mayfair, and if you're in the know, then you aren't surprised when it shrieks past.

A young lad was with his mum and dad taking pictures of it, totally awestruck when I noticed the owner leaving the Hilton. The kid was being marshalled away by his parents as a hotel flunkey opened the Enzo's door so the old boy could get in. I called out to the three departing tourists.

"Don't go now! I'm sure the little man would love to hear it start up, wouldn't he?"

The kid came over with his camera, quite nervously. I told him to stand about a foot and a half away, so his camera could capture the sound. I knew what was coming.....haha!

[RIAAOO RIAOOO RIAOOOOOOOO] The shrill bark from those stainless steel exhausts must have made the poor kid wet himself. He was so taken aback, he actually looked scared.

I had only an infinitesimal amount of guilt. It will be the making of him as a car lover.

Update: regarding the silver version () in an earlier post, the owner - racer with Barazi-Epsilon - has allowed both his Enzo and MC12 to be a main feature in one of the monthly car magazines. Interesting assessment...
