Your average girl likes cars. Just not crap ones. Sure enough, go to a English seaside resort or watch a PG-15 Hollywood blockbuster about racing nitrous powered rice rockets, then certainly, there are strains of females that enjoy the whole enthusiast scene. But try and convince your new ladyfriend as to why your CLK350 is a better steer than the neighbour's A6, then their eyes may just glaze over.

But why on earth would two young and pretty, Swedish students be standing and giggling outside the Dorchester, whispering to themselves? The Dorchester used to be Michael Jackson's hotel of choice whenever visiting our fair town, but I did not know of any visiting celebrities for them to be waiting for. Anyway, we all got talking, and I managed to persuade one of the young ladies to pose between the Veyron and the DHC. It was easy to entice her to do so: she's just an average (but pretty) girl. And when seeing a Bentley Contintal T, SLR McLaren, two Veyrons, an M6, an S65AMG and a DHC all in one line, well of course they liked that. Your average girl will hang around and take an interest in that pretty line-up.

I've talked about the DHC twice before, here and here, so won't delve further. But everytime I do see one, I can't fail to recognise what is an astonishing car.
