Hooper Silver Spirit

A veritable landmark in Belgravia.

Hooper built on Rolls-Royce platforms for decades. I don't know a lot about the coachbuilder but you don't need official R-R archival information to indicate that they, along with Mulliner, are one of the long standing partners.

Tailored designs on the RR platforms, whilst not common, are around, but often find themselves left in private collections. It's an interesting manouveure: take a four door saloon and turn it into a 'coupe'. It sort of works here, but I do think the wheels, with their busy spindle effect, panders too much to the late-80's US market, and doesn't add to a Rolls-Royce.

Another obvious Hooper hallmark is the blacked out surround to the rear-window screen.
