Jaguar E-Type Series III V12

This is following a trend. A sunny saturday. Errands to run. A corner turned. A shiny, just cleaned, classic car from before when I was born. Jensen Interceptor. DB4. E-Type. Absolutely stunning.

The owner, a Greek chap, who was nearby, said that he'd only recently had it running again. He'd had the battery replaced and it wasn't starting after minimal use. So he'd taken the car out, asked the garage to put it right, given it a wash, and popped out for something to eat. Then he bumps into me.

Whilst I took a few piccies this gent sidled up to me.

With a crafty fag in the corner of his mouth, he sneered, "Ain't a real E-Type, saaaahhhnnn. Not a straight-six is it?"

I asked him, that if I gave him a bundle of cash - not to say he didn't have the money - what would he get?

He said, "A Roller. A chinese-eye like my mate Peter used to have..."

'Peter?'

"Peter Sellers innit..."

He was going to buy me a drink, but I had to run. Ta-ra!
