You know those polls in the various magazines: where everyone is asked as to their favourite 'M' car?

I think it's just the extenuating lip on the rear spoiler which makes me stop and pause each time one drives past. They are, as we all know, hugely regarded cars.

For many the E46 Coupe is one of the best looking cars, certainly of the past 10 years or so, but the extra enhancement at the rear, the arched alloys and the negative camber that effects the stance of the car, is a spotter's dream. It's a classic example of a car that would pass the missus by, but makes the hubby think,

"Yep, when we get divorced, I'll treat meself!"

BMW E12 M535i

The BMW E12 M535i. 220 brake. 220lb ft. LSD. Straight six. At one point the fastest car BMW made. In fact it's the original super-saloon. The grandfather of the E34 M5. Putting in mind the current V10-powered M5, itself coming to the latter years of it's production life, in car years, the age gap with the modern car and the E12 is like the difference in time with the American Civil War and September 11th.

BMW 2002tii

I was dropping off LadyFriendOfTigerKoi at her abode in deepest South London. It was about 11, 11:15am, and we'd had a good time, prior to her flying off to Granada for a few days. Anyway I'm fooling around, a little lost as I'd forgotten the way and Kiss FM was on the radio. I'd had enough of that and switched to the CD player.
